2014 Graduate Enrollment Guide
(Teaching Conducted in English)
This is an Enrollment Guide for Graduate Study at Guangzhou University of Chinese Medicine.
Doctoral supervisors can recruit both doctoral and master’s degree students, while master’s supervisors can recruit postgraduates who apply to the master’s degree only.
1. Type of Study
GZUCM has developed graduate programmes to fulfill your needs. The Master Degree’s Programmes and Doctoral Degree’s Programme are both generally a 3-year full-time study.
2. Entry Requirements
1) Applicants should abide by the Constitution, laws and regulations of mainlandChina, compliance with regulations of GZUCM.
2) To apply for Doctor Degree’s Programmes, a master degree or equivalent qualification (the same level as mainlandChina) is required.
To apply for Master Degree’s Programmes, a bachelor degree or equivalent qualification (the same level as mainlandChina) is required.
3) Applicants with good character and general health will enjoy an advantage.
3.How to Apply
1) Candidates should sign up before 30 July 2014. The detailed information for entrance examination will be issued later.
2) Application documents including:
a. Application Form
b. A true copy of Passport
c. A true copy of highest diploma (certificate of degree and graduate certificate)
3) Application Fee: RMB 500yuanper person
4) We will organize entrance examination when the numbers of candidates are more than 10.
4. Entrance Examination
1)Doctor Entrance Examination
a. specialized basic course (3 hours, 100 points)
b. specialized course (3 hours, 100 points)
c. interview: organized by the supervisor you apply to
2) Master Entrance Examination
a. specialized basic course I: (3 hours, 150 points)
b. specialized basic course II: (3 hours, 150 points)
c. specialized course (2 hours, 100 points)
d. interview: organized by the supervisor you apply to
note: Once deciding the supervisor, students can contact with Foreign Student Office for the detailed information about the exam.
5. Tuition & Fee
1) Tuition Fee
Master student:￥32,000yuanper year; Doctoral student:￥33,600yuanper year
2) Registration Fee
The new students should pay￥400yuanper person on Enrollment Day.
